FAQs: Answering your most asked questions
Everything You Need to Know Before Your Adventure
Embarking on an adventure with Wine Valley Adventures is an exciting journey, and we want to ensure that you have all the information you need to make the most of your experience. Here, we’ve gathered answers to some of the most frequently asked questions (FAQs) to guide you through the ins and outs of your upcoming adventure.
What Should We Wear?
For optimal comfort and safety, we recommend wearing long pants (such as gym pants, joggers, or jeans) and closed shoes (trainers are suitable). Men are advised to opt for tight underwear for a more comfortable ride. Additionally, long-sleeved shirts made from appropriate material work well to protect from the sun.
What Should We Bring?
Your guide will carry water, and you can request a saddlebag for additional personal items. If you have specific sunscreen preferences, feel free to bring your own.
What Time Should We Arrive?
Arrive at least 30 minutes before your booking time for the briefing and helmet fitting. Late arrivals may result in a forfeiture of riding time or the entire trip. Electronic indemnity forms must be completed in advance; these will be emailed to you 24 hours before your booking, and participants under 18 need their legal guardian’s signature.
Where Do We Meet Our Guide?
Your guide will meet you at Lust Bistro on Vrede en Lust Wine Estate. Arriving early? Grab a coffee and announce yourselves to the staff.
What If It Rains?
Your safety is our priority. In the case of heavy rain, we’ll keep an eye on the weather forecast and attempt to reschedule. If that’s not possible, a full refund will be issued.

Absolutely! We strive to ensure everyone has a great ride. Beginners walk, while experienced riders may get a chance to trot or canter, ensuring a memorable experience for all participants.
