Gavin’s stunt career began in early 1977, doing Wild West and medieval jousting shows. This was primarily horse work, but after filming the film Zulu Dawn, he worked under several international stunt coordinators and learned other fields of stunt work, including high falls, fights, body burns, and car and bike stunts. He now trains horses for the film industry and does leather carvings and video editing work. You can find Gavin leading quad bike rides when he is not doing his leather work – be sure to ask him about his stunt career, as he has many fascinating stories to tell.
